Following a change of art studio, and getting myself settled in, I wanted to ‘get back to basics’ with my abstract art and produce something new. This drawing is called ‘Movement though a space’.
I love to study, draw and paint how forms interact with the space around them. How water and wind moves across and around objects, landscapes and cityscapes. This drawing I completed in June 2021 is called ‘Water moving over stones’.

I am an artist from Kingston upon Hull in the United Kingdom with a background in learning disability nursing, health research and community, adult and higher education teaching in visual arts, illustration and health-based subjects. In 2021 I decided to focus on my own artwork and use my experience, knowledge and interest in art and wellbeing to support others.
